Welcome to the online curriculum vitae for Robert M. Rowan.

I'm a creative writer, a technical writer, a teacher, and a computer nerd.  I blend these attributes together pretty well most of the time. My strongest skill is the ability to explain complex materials to a novice audience, whether in technical documents or in the classroom.

I am currently a Lecturer at Case Western Reserve University, where I teach technical and professional communication to Engineering students. 

My PhD is in English Studies, with an emphasis in Technical Communication. This site lists both my teaching and business experiences, as well as my academic service and teaching philosophy.  Thank you for your interest!
